About Us
Our President Andrew Juarez has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. He reluctantly began his career working in the family mechanical company alongside his father and brother. He had dreams of working in any other industry other than construction but soon fell in love with the trade and working outdoors. When it was time for his father to retire, instead of helping his brother run the company, he took on a new challenge and went to work on large scale commercial projects for a nationwide mechanical contractor working on such project as Apple Park and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University. It is working on these large scale projects that he found his calling coordinating work with other trades and handling the financial side of projects working as a project manager.
After a few year of this he made the move from California to Arizona where he began working on the general contractor side as a project superintendent. He once again rekindled his love for construction and building the best structures to meet clients needs. Working as a superintendent on such projects as the Texas Rangers Training Facility, Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, and various project for Arizona State University he honed his skills as a builder working with engineers and architects, managing schedules and trade partners, all while maintaining clients budgetary needs.
While looking to purchase a home for his family, Andrew noticed that the custom homes in the Phoenix area were not on par with the custom homes he worked on in Silicon Valley. He saw a need for a quality custom home builder in the valley that had the attention for details and construction knowledge to build outstanding custom homes that did not cut corners to save cost. It was out of Andrew seeing this need that Copper Mountain Contracting was born. We will work hard with integrity to build a quality project that meets our clients needs each and every time. Andrew is hands on and will be onsite and involved in your project to make sure your needs are met.
Andrew is a faith oriented, family man who loves living in Arizona and serving his community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, enjoying the outdoors, and going to the rodeo.
